VINTAGE REBORN: The Denim Cutoff

Surely by now you’ve noticed some vintage-inspired favorites reemerging for spring and summer, and one trend I’ve seen out and about that I’m loving is the re-invited high-waisted cutoff denim. It’s sexy, figure flattering, and just the right amount of retro-chic! When these bottoms found their way back to modern times, I loved the throwback spirit they returned with, and the denim cutoff has become a fashion staple for spring and summer. Whether your going 60’s feminine, 80’s rebel, or modern day fashionista, you’ll be right on trend with this eye-catching addition to your wardrobe no matter what outfit you go with!

In the return of high-waisted denim, I’m excited to see their latest makeover hitting the streets! Styled and embellished with studs, lace, fringes, paint… you name it, the denim cutoff is now more stylish than ever. They are the perfect piece to style any outfit around, and are not just made for lounging poolside anymore: pair with a blouse or blazer and wedges for a jazzed-up look, and accessories will add that extra touch of glam. Candace Swanepoel’s Vogue Spain editorial featured the shorts as the primary look and even stuck out when paired with designers like Balenciaga. What’s your favorite way to rock this trend?
