Style Extras

My focus as a stylist at stylehaus is clothing, but style is definitely about more than just clothes.  True style goes beyond the outfit to include the way you walk, the way you flip your hair, or the way you apply your lipstick.  For me, fashion may be about clothing- but style includes all the little extras!  Here are some of my favorite “little extras”:

1. L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge lipsticks

These lipsticks from L’Oreal are perfect.  I slick one on in the morning and never have to reapply until after dinner.   Most long wear lipsticks get dry and flaky; this one stays moist all day.  There are tons of colors to choose from, but I love Ravishing Red for a classic 50s look, Summer Rose for a mod pink pout, and Coral Seduction for an unexpected pop of orange!

2.  Mad et Len perfume

Mad et Len perfumes and candles are made by a brother-sister duo in the French countryside.  Their scents are different than most perfumes out there; they tend to favor strong bouquets and unpredictable aromas.   The No IV Violette is the perfect floral-but-not-too-feminine perfume, and when I found it I stockpiled 4 bottles for future use!

3.   Burt’s Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Crème

I love Burt’s Bees all-natural products, and their Almond Milk hand crème is no exception.  This keeps my skin silky soft and never greasy, and it leaves behind the faintest hint of sweet almonds.  I’m addicted!

4. Davines NouNou Nourishing Repairing Hair Mask

Davines is my go-to hair brand.  Their conditioners never fail to leave my hair soft and manageable, no matter how much dyeing and drying I’ve put it through!  Davines conditioners are super versatile, too; you can use them as a mask on dry hair, as a leave-in/wash-out treatment on wet hair, or as a styling product.

Since I’m such a product junkie, this list is ever-growing.  I can’t wait to share my next batch of newly discovered  “extras” with you!
