Street Styling: How To Get the Look

I absolutely love the mixture of textures and styles that this fashionista is rocking. Although leather and knit are worn mainly in fall and winter, the pink and cream hues make the look perfect for a chilly spring day, and pairing boyfriend jeans with heels is one of my favorite looks. This outfit is simply street style perfection!

Color blocking: We all know that it’s trending for spring, but how should you wear it? This stylish streetwalker has the look down just right as she keeps her shirt, belt, and pants within the same color scheme, and then incorporates the pop of red into her bag and shoes. Mixing and matching colors is always fun, but you don’t want it to look like you got dressed with your eyes clothes. Since red, blue, and purple are all within the same color family, this outfit coordinates perfectly while still adding fun, unexpected pops of styling.

Is your style in between girly and edgy? If so, you can never go wrong with an outfit like this. I love the way that this street style maven played with feminine patterns in her skirt and shirt, then edged up her look with cool lace up sandals and a leather jacket. By mixing and matching styles, you will create a fashion-forward look that is all your own!

Unsure how to transition between seasons? When the snow starts to melt people always get antsy to whip out their new summer clothes, but it’s important to maintain a transition style. This style starlet has the look down to perfection, as she incorporates spring and summer brights into her look but still keeps the materials season-appropriate for her cold climate. These velvet sandals are the perfect way to transition from boots to open-toed shoes, and her pants are a great spring contrast against her cozy turtleneck.
