It’s finally starting to get chilly in Los Angeles, and I couldn’t be more excited! Chilly weather = boots, sweaters, and cozy layers upon layers. I’ve started dreaming up my winter wardrobe, trying to figure out what essentials are missing in my cold-weather closet and how to mix-and-match old pieces with new ones.
This season I know my Rag & Bone booties are going to be a part of every outfit I put together. They’re just perfect: sturdy, edgy, and versatile. Lately I’ve been all about the baseball hat trend, so I know I’ll be mixing my favorite hats into my looks too.
So what am I going to put in between my boots & hats? I’m going for luxe cashmere pieces in fun, edgy cuts and prints. This Mary Katranzou sweater is a must-have: the print is beautiful, and it’s easily edged up with leather accessories. Pane-printed Chinti & Parker cashmere pants from Net-A-Porter are going to be my new go-to bottoms, for sure. They’ll look great with a basic black or white tee and a leather jacket, but pairing them with other printed pieces (like the MK sweater) will be a cute way to mix things up!
What do you think of this cozy-cool look? I hope it inspires you to start planning your own winter outfits! If you need a little help getting started, you can always set up an appointment with me here. I’d love to go through your closet and help you fill in the gaps!
