With New York Fashion Week officially in full swing, Olga and I could not be more excited to attend our first show, Timo Weiland. The collection combined a tough, “none-girlish” edge with more structured and oversized pieces. Amongst the sea of black, dark greys and army green, I spotted splashes of cherry red, windowpane prints and luxe-leather details. As Weiland and Eckstein said, “We were inspired by English Tudor houses, and imagining hip East London girls heading to the country for the weekend.” Hair and makeup was simple and not fussy, leaving the clothing to take center stage and shine. Sheer blouses, full skirts, chunky cable knit sweaters and baseball-style caps proved to combine both classic and grungy styles effortlessly. After the show, Olga and I attended the Le Baron for the Timo Weiland and Tsubo after-party. This proved to be the perfect ending to our first day in New York for Fashion Week!
Our outfits- to the show, I wore an ALC leopard jacket, Veda leather skirt, Le Marque leather pants, Miu Miu shoes and a Celine trapeze bag. Olga wore an Acne shearling jacket, Jason Wu sweater, Proenza Schouler leather shorts, Walter Steiger booties and a Proenza Schouler crossbody bag.
