Haute Couture designer Marchesa constantly amazes me with beautiful, glamorous gowns and has become a staple on the red carpets. While these gowns are every bit glamorous, they are set aside for special occasions such as a gala or awards show and are too elegant for day-to-day activities. That is why I am thrilled about the announcement of Marchesa’s daywear line, featuring RTW boho-casual items detailed with the brand’s chic spin. Silk tops, harem pants, shift dresses, and collarless jackets are embellished in true Marchesa fashion with sparkling embroidery, lush fur, and scarf-inspired prints. The line, set to be called “Marchesa Voyage”, will be released later on this year and I’m already lusting after these preview items! With exotic prints, headscarves, and knee-high boots, the looks are nothing short of high-fashion and still very modern. Besides the great price point, the pieces are perfect for a multitude of occasions. “It’s for a global-minded woman, whether she is traveling the globe or whether she is just staying at home,” said co-designer Keren Craig. I can’t wait to add a little bit of Marchesa magic into my street style, and with 45 different styles of shoes, the anticipation is killing me!
