Currently Craving: Simple Jewelry

Fashion has its loud, over-the-top moments, but I’ve noticed a more subtle movement in fashion lately.  Instead of clashing prints and bright neon colors, fashion’s heavy-hitters are turning towards perfectly tailored lounge wear, luxurious materials, and simple styling; instead of bold statement necklaces, tastemakers are choosing to layer delicate chains and charms.

While statement necklaces will always hold a place in my heart and my wardrobe, I’ve been warming up to the idea of simplifying my jewelry game.  Just as I was considering this, stylehaus received a special delivery of the coolest chains around: vintage Roman coins repurposed into rocker jewelry.  The oxidized coins and chains, sprinkled with black diamonds, are the perfect pieces for fashion’s new look.

I’m not the only one who loves these necklaces, though- you may recognize the design from Ryan Gosling’s character in the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love (or you may have been distracted by the fact that Ryan was shirtless while wearing one).  The designer of these coin baubles decided to make them available to the public shortly after the movie’s release, but production was kept small.  stylehaus is now home to four of these babies- and I want to layer them all at once!

Who you think rocks it better- Ryan with just one or me with three?
