Even though I’ve been out of school for quite some time, I still get the “Back To School” shopping itch come August. There’s something about the start of the fall season that brings a sense of renewal, and I need to refresh my wardrobe to reflect that feeling of a fresh start.
Lucky for me, the Grove made that easy this weekend! As the Style Director for the Grove, I love attending the fun fashion events that take place at stylehaus headquarters- and this weekend’s events were some of the best yet. TeenVogue partnered with tons of amazing designers and stores to put on a “Back To School Saturday” weekend extravaganza! Kicking off with a runway show featuring ASOS, Nasty Gal, and Topshop pieces, the weekend included pop up shops from Kate Spade, ASOS, LeSportsac, Keds, Paul Frank, Garnier, and Maybelline.
During the event, I got to DIY a tee shirt at ASOS’ booth and snagged some super cute earrings and bangles from Kate Spade’s traveling pop-up store truck. Mary Kate Steinmiller, a TeenVogue fashion editor, held a special Q&A session in Topshop , where students were treated to 20% off all weekend!
This event was the perfect way to kick off the new season, and the stylehaus girls and I had so much fun attending and jumpstarting our fall wardrobes. Were you guys there? What did you think?
